Sprains, Pains, and Cocker Spaniels

Hey all you Clexers!

Well so far, it's been an interesting first week of vacation for your intrepid Clexauthor.  I came home from Christmas shopping yesterday to find that my cocker spaniel mix had gotten herself tangled up in a dead bush near the side of my house.  When I went to yank her trolley line free she jumped forward, and I fell flat on my back, spraining my left wrist and bruising my back to hell.  Of course, my dog just had to climb up my chest and make sure I was ok . . .

After a couple of cold packs and half a bottle of Tylenol, I'm able to type again.  Beware of hyper cocker spaniels and dead bushes, people!

I had time to go to my sister's house today and watch the "Lex-mas" episode of Smallville.  I'm glad they gave us a little Ho-yay, which has been sorely lacking of late.  Anyway, it gave me a few story ideas, and if time permits, I might post a short one-shot Christmas story of my own this week, before the holiday.  As for the episode itself I thought it was terribly sad.  And sure, kill off the only version of Lana that was ever halfway likeable, why don't you!

Anyway, I'm happy to see that traffic is increasing on the site, and that everyone here is enjoying the stories.  Stay tuned!

Cheers,

Shaman
